Lantern Keeper is complete on your own, and better with friends. Everything here is inside the game, free, and needs a free account only where it says so.

Friends and parties

Add friends by their friend code, see who is online and what they are up to, and gather in a party with its own chat. (Account)

Co-op for up to four

Defend one lighthouse together. Join online with a room code, play phone to phone nearby, or on your own network. The lobby shows who is ready and how good each connection is.

Duels and ranked PvP

Challenge a friend to a friendly duel that never touches your rating, or climb the ranked leaderboard against keepers matched to your level. (Account)

The Lantern Bazaar

A small 3D harbour where keepers meet between nights: show off your look, trade with friends, post on the Market and craft at the Workbench. (Account)

Daily chat

Community and region chat is one conversation a day, fresh every midnight (UTC). Party chat and whispers stay with your friends.

Community events

Festivals and community goals: every keeper's nights count towards one shared total, shown in the game while the event runs.

Keeping it friendly

  • Block anyone: they can no longer message, befriend, invite or challenge you, and you stop seeing them, in chat and in the Bazaar.
  • Mute a player on your device, or turn the other keeper's reactions off during PvP.
  • Report a message or a player from their name. Moderators see the reported message even after the daily chat has gone.
  • Choose who can challenge you to a duel: everyone, friends only (the default) or nobody. You can also hide your profile.
  • Chat refuses slurs and links before anything is sent, hides rude words, and slows down spam. Please never share personal details.
